Fenty Beauty is here and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m a huge Rihanna fan so when I found out she was coming out with a makeup line of course I had to have it! Rihanna has done something major with her makeup line by providing an array of foundation shades for women of color who have otherwise been left out by the beauty industry.
It has been impossible for darker women to find a foundation to match their shade. As a light skinned woman myself finding a foundation to match my skin tone has been no cake walk either. Every shade I purchased was too light making me look ashy or an in between shade that left me looking orange. I had to settle for buying two shades and mixing them to actually get something that resembled my skin tone.
Fenty Beauty literally has a shade for everyone. It’s about time someone came up with a makeup line that is inclusive of all women. Fenty Beauty is about to take over the beauty industry and I’m here for it! #Blackgirlmagic

The Look-Golden Godess
I didn’t add any filters to my pictures and took them in natural light because I wanted to show the natural colors of the makeup. I started off with my primer then 2 pumps of my Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation. When I purchased the foundation the woman let me know that it oxidizes so it looks orange when you first put it on but it doesn’t stay that way.
Next I used my Fenty Beauty match stix trio to contour and highlight my face. Then I blended, added my eyeliner, mascara and Fenty Beauty gloss. I used the highlighter from the match stix trio to the center of my lips to give it a golden glow. Finally I filled my brows in and I was done!
The foundation is super lightweight which I love. I have oily skin so my face tends to look cakeie very easily with foundation. I didn’t have this problem at all. Major win! The tones in the match stix are warm and golden which give you a sun kissed glow.
I absolutely love what Fenty Beauty has done so far and am looking forward to checking out their Holiday line which comes out October 13th!
